OMG!!

WOW. I CAME TO SKOOL NOT EVEN KNOWING WE GET OUT EARLY. YES IM UPSET.

So how do you feel..

·         I feel future pathways is going good for me I’m getting here on time and keeping up with the work.

·         I have attended everyday accept yesterday for a good reason.

·         What is helpful to me is that my questions get answered and I’m not left behind. I also think that the time I get here is a good time for me.

·         What is not good for me is that I had to miss yesterday.

·         I hope to receive the credits I need while learning. I also hope to attend everyday so that when I go back to my home school next year it will be a habbit.

Curfew

There are people who would like Des Moines to have curfews for teens. This is being considered because of the many occurring shootings and that it has worked for other cities that have a curfew.  Iowa City has a curfew. Their curfews for teens are 13 & younger can’t be in public places 10pm-5am; 14-15 year olds can’t be out from 11pm-5am; and 16-17 can’t be out 12am-5am. Pros are that it will probably make the crime rate during those times go down and kids will be safe at home. I feel that the cons are the freedom teens will get to have and that our money will be going to these little fees to the police which I don’t like. I feel it should be a parent’s responsibility of giving their children a crew or not. Or the child should have common since to know when it is late and they need to come home.

If i couldn't live in Iowa but in the U.S.

If I couldn’t live in Iowa I would choose to live in Dallas, Texas. I would choose there because it’s a bigger city and the weather there in much better to me then in Iowa. Then if I had to stay there I would pick this school in the picture in Texas. This is Baylor University Medical Center. If I lived in Texas then my hobbies will probably change. I probably make sure I do a lot more outdoor activities. Texas is much bigger than Iowa and they have more places you can go and more things you can do.

Having fun learning

At my home school I had food class and before tests we would slipt the class in half and have two different teams. Then we would play games to help us remember the things we need for our test. I loved doing this! I enjoy many of the learning games. I feel that I will remember it more then if I was just using a book to study.

overcoming fears

I have the fear that i will be broke or unsuccesful. I don't want this to happen because then I wont get what i want in life. This fear is still on going but I am working to break it. How I do that is I make sure I work alot and I continue to go to school. This makes me feel like I am a better person by doing these things.
